Welcome to My Yoga Journey

Sep 25, 2026

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. If you’ve found your way here, you maybe curious about yoga, looking to return to your practice, searching for a class that feels a little more welcoming, or simply wanting to create more space for yourself in a busy life.

Whatever brought you here, you’re welcome.

Yoga has been part of my life for over 15 years

My relationship with yoga didn’t begin with the intention of becoming a teacher. For many years, it was simply something I loved doing, a chance to move, switch off from everything else and reconnect with myself. Especially working in the corporate world and always being on the go, I just needed something that slowed me down.

Over time, though, my relationship with yoga changed. It became less about what a pose looked like and more about how the practice made me feel. After spending many years working in the corporate world as a Product Designer (UX/UI), I eventually reached a point where I wanted life to look and feel a little different. I wanted more space for creativity, family, wellbeing and the things that genuinely brought me joy.

Leaving corporate life gave me the opportunity to explore that.

Alongside running my own design studio, where I specialise in creating brands and websites for wellness businesses and professionals, I decided to take something I had loved for years one step further and train as a yoga teacher.

And here we are.

Yoga without the pressure

One of the things I care about most as a teacher is making yoga feel accessible and welcoming.

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need expensive yoga clothes. You don’t need to know the names of the poses, touch your toes or look a certain way. You just need to come as you are.

I want my classes to be spaces where people can move, breathe and reconnect with themselves without feeling as though they have something to prove. Some days you might feel strong and energetic. Other days you might need to slow everything down. Both belong in yoga.

Yoga for adults and children

My teaching journey also extends to children’s yoga, something I’m particularly passionate about.

Children experience busy lives too. Yoga can give them an opportunity to move their bodies while developing confidence, body awareness, balance and tools for calming and regulating themselves. My children’s classes are playful and age-appropriate, incorporating movement, imagination, breathing and relaxation rather than expecting children to practise yoga like miniature adults.

I currently teach yoga within schools and also offer private children’s yoga sessions.

For adults, I’m looking forward to creating classes that feel relaxed, inclusive and grounded, including upcoming community yoga in Kennington, London.

More than yoga poses

This blog will be somewhere I can share more of the things I'm learning and exploring along the way, from yoga and wellbeing to mindfulness, movement, travel and reflections from my own journey as a teacher.

I’m still learning too and I think that’s part of what makes yoga so interesting. There is always another layer to discover.

So whether you’ve been practising for years or you’ve never stepped onto a yoga mat before, I hope you’ll find something here for you.

Come as you are, move in a way that feels good and give yourself a little space to simply be.

Hey! I'm Natalie. Yoga has been part of my life for over 15 years. I want to create the kind of yoga spaces I believe more of us need: welcoming, inclusive and free from judgement.
